Focal Length Testing Fixture
During my time at Columbia Tech, I designed and constructed a testing fixture for a robot camera's focal length. The existing fixture was built to be temporary and so was described as rudimentary and unwieldy. I was tasked with redesigning the apparatus to be easier and more intuitive to use as well as making it more visually appealing for auditors. The design was made of a combination of CAD files found on vendor websites and custom made parts I designed to cut costs and better manufacturability.
